If you go back and look at any video of Travis from basically the day before Taylor came to her first game he was almost universally liked and praised as a nice guy. Now you’d be hard pressed to find anyone saying anything nice about him online. Id argue he’s sacrificed a lot of his own public image to be associated with her.

Did the relationship bring him more exposure? Absolutely but he already had a name of his own. You can't say the same about Joe.

I think that’s what endeared all of us to Travis when they started dating, he was in awe of her. You saw it when he looked at her and when he talked about her, I mean Taylor Swift is the voice of a generation and he’s just happy that he’s standing next to her.
