They say people die twice, they die when they die and they die when you stop mentioning their name. I do things everyday for my mum, who didn’t live beyond 18. I’m 24, it was 24 yrs ago she passed. Your dad is with you every step of the way, as is all those who have passed ❤️❤️

I was 15 when my dad died, he was 42. When I turned 42 I went on a 10wk road trip to Darwin & back on my own. So much has changed for me since that trip, for the better. Life is too short. Anything that doesn’t bring you joy, show it the door. You’re amazing, keep doing what brings you joy x

I was 11 (few months off 12) when my dad passed away. I'm turning 30 next month.
the biggest thing I ever wish for is he still be around to see who I've become, what I've over come and to meet his grand kids that I know he would of absolutely adored. I also would have loved to work along side him on the farm I spent the first 10yrs of my life on.

👋 part of the club. mine was 57, I was 26. it has shaped the last 12yrs of my life unexplainably. in ways I would never have considered.
was thankful recently to stumble across some home movies of him, and hearing his voice again, literally took my breath away. was insane. 🤍🫶
you're smashing life mate! we are here and proud, and Dad(s) would be too x

i lost mine at 14, i honestly don’t remember anything about him, but i know he would be happy i did well, he’s got a grandson now too, it simply is what it is, people pass and you move forward and you do your best to live a even better life than they did

Lost both of my parents. It's hard but you learn to cope, I don't celebrate Xmas etc as it's not the same anymore ❤️

I couldn’t agree more. I lost both my parents at 15 and 16. I’m now 21. I was both very close with my parents and I had to learn how to grieve while also being a teenager one the hardest things I’ve had to do always here for you babe.❤️

My dad passed away suddenly just over ten years ago, and I still miss him every single day. Sometimes something happens that I know he’d get a kick out of and for a moment I catch myself thinking, “I’ll give Dad a call later.” I know how hard it can be, and everyone grieves in their own way. For me, missing him is something I’ve slowly learned to live with.

My dad was murdered last year. And my pop, my father’s dad shot himself two months beforehand. I truly don’t know how I’m still going. I get up. Go to work go to tafe, come home and sleep. It’s just a vicious cycle.

I lost my mum when I was 19, she was 55, it was 5 years ago. So much has happened since she left, she would be so proud and some days I’d love to make that call too. I have some of mums ashes (in a necklace) in my car so a part of her is always with me 🥹

As a girl who lost her Dad a fresh 4 months ago and at 32, which I’m so grateful to have had so much time with him, even though it still feels like I was robbed with so little… Thank you for this, I needed to hear this🫶🏼

Today is my dad’s 10 year anniversary, he passed when I was 19 and he was 60 and also passed on cancer. I’m definitely my ‘father’s daughter’ too. I got chills watching this, but I needed it ❤️

Mine passed 8 yrs ago now. He was my best-friend. To this day I can’t watch videos of him or listen to him sing (he played and sang his whole life) without it crippling me. Hugs to you, and anyone else mourning a loved one. It’s tough.
