I just found my husbands 1st grade Christmas list to Santa. He first explained how he deserved it by doing chores then asked for necessities like snow boots because his feet was getting cold walking to school in the snow. I asked if he got his snow boots and he said no. I wanted to cry. Because they’ll spent $13 on the most expensive kind of cigarettes every day. But not a $20 pair of snow boots at Walmart 😭 AND his mom did not have a job and could have easily drove him to school.
