@timetocrunch: Share with someone you wanna hike this with 🥾 11/10 views the entire loop — mountains, the Nisqually glacier, waterfalls, wildflowers, rivers, and wildlife (I saw marmots, mountain goats, and bears!). 📍 Skyline Loop, Mount Rainier National Park 🥾 Skyline Loop (5.7 miles, 1,781 ft elevation gain, rated hard on @alltrails ) 🅿️ Plan to arrive EARLY! We visited in August and the main Paradise parking was pretty filled by 6 am. You can either do a loop or an out and back to Panorama Point, but we recommend the entire loop to get allll the views 😍 We did the loop clockwise, but it can be done either direction. It does have some steep sections coming down from either side of Panorama Point. 🎒Pack lots of water, snacks, and sun protection. If you have trekking poles, I would bring them! 🚽 There are bathrooms at the parking area and one near Panorama Point if you need it on trail.
