I really don't understand the people that come complaining about problems with their partners and everything they do wrong, and then expect me to believe they are a good match. Like, you barely tell me about the good things and always talk about the bad ones, why would I think it's a healthy relationship?

I had a friend who was a certified man hater. She absolutely despised men, and if I came to her about anything she simply deemed my partner was shit. Regardless of all the good, positive things I told her. Turns out she was wrong, we have been together over 3 years, and we have a son. We got through the genuine rough patches, together.

This is such an easy fix. If they want to vent, they should specify if they want their friend to just agree and be on their side, be neutral, or try and fix the problem. Just communicate what you need. Also, if they only ever vent about their partner, and don’t specify that they’ve made up afterwards, they shouldn’t expect their friends to like their partner 💀 if you only ever speak bad, they’ll only ever see bad. It’s really that simple.
