@lovelyfurrypaws: After nearly a year without a proper haircut, this little dog finally got the chance to have his coat carefully shaved down❤️ But as the grooming progressed, we noticed something concerning: his front paw was extremely red and irritated. With so much fur covering his body, it was impossible to know the full condition of his skin before starting. We did our best to carefully remove the matted coat, but his paw clearly needed further attention. A veterinary check-up and proper treatment may be necessary to find out exactly what’s going on. This experience is a reminder that severe matting isn’t just about appearance. It can hide skin problems and make everyday care extremely difficult.
