@mariahgrows: Did you know the aerial roots on your houseplants can attach to the drywall? 🙈 I found this way to still let them climb the wall while also protecting your walls 🙌 (just need to keep up on the growth😅) Use a trellis + tacks then attach some vinyl on the back. You can find sheet vinyl by the poster boards in craft stores or I had this window vinyl left over. Then tuck the aerial roots in between the trellis and vinyl. They will attach to your trellis, not the wall!
