This was the similar problem with Superman(2025) when Lex started calling superman moves and being able to counter them almost instantly which is just plain stupid.

imo quicksiver's death wasn't too farfetched because the first time we see him being hit by a bullet wasn't because he couldn't reacts fast enough but instead because he didn't see it and couldn't react at all, and with his death it also makes sense since he was moving Hawkeye out of the gun fire's way and he was caught in it because INITIALLY moved too LATE, he wasn't slow he was just late

another good way is limiting your speelster. my best example would he david Martinez from cyberpunk. his sandivistan could slow down time, but at a heavy toll to his body. if he redlines his sandie to much it could bedl (and pretty much was) the end of him.

the reason why mcu qs dies is because the bullets are coming from a gatling gun which shoots very fast and yes he could se hawkeye's bullet but he couldn't react to it
