@juliejwon: Israel has controlled water access for Palestinans since 1967. Palestinians are given 73 liters a day per person, below the World Health Organization’s minimum of 100 liters. U.S. homes use on average about 310 liters a day, the same amount Israeli settlers are allotted in the West Bank. 73 liters = 15 toilet flushes – everyday Palestinians have to triage between flushing their toilet, showering, doing their laundry, cooking, and having enough water to drink. Restricting Palestinians right to water is another method of control - to push them out of their land because it’s unlivable for any human being.
