@heewonie.eats: One of my absolute favorite bakeries in Boston!! 🥹 A Japanese bakery featuring the CUTEST Studio Ghibli-themed pastries, along with such a fun variety of sweet and savory options! @Japonaise Bakery and Cafe We ordered: 👻 no face (earl grey custard) - halloween edition 😶‍🌫️ kodama (jasmine custard) – halloween edition 🐈‍⬛ jiji (chocolate raspberry custard) 🐻‍❄️ totoro (chocolate custard) 🫐 blueberry croissant 🍓 ichigo cream 🍙 spicy tuna onigiri 🥪 chicken katsu sando 🍥 chikuwa pan 🍛 curry pan 🥐 coco anpan 🖤 black sesame melon pan 🥖 raisin shio butter ☕️ cold brew Both the sweet AND savory options are incredible!! The Studio Ghibli pastries are almost too cute to eat, with the softest bread and luscious custard fillings that practically melt in your mouth. The chicken katsu sando was another standout - SO tender on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. The spicy tuna onigiri also had the perfect tuna-to-rice ratio (which is hard to come by 👀) Way too hard to pick a favorite when everything is this good.
