Before the introduction of Christianity in North Africa, the Ancient Egyptian form of religion was centered on pantheon of gods or deities like Isis , Baal etc. Now , the Sub Sahara Africa knew nothing about Christianity until Trans Atlantic slave trade in the 1450's (15th century) where the missionaries (Portuguese. etc) brought bible, building churches and schools etc. So Christianity became New to sub Sahara Africans including Ghana,Nigeria, Togo,Angola etc.

In 700 to 900 the African chiefs were selling their own people to the Arabians so sometimes people are so naive and they ignore that initiative of selling slaves by their own ancestors. Even Mansa Musa that we hail that he was the wealthiest Black man ever existed in the Black history was having 12,000 slaves. So what do we sometimes talk about. We joke and base on people’s bitterness and hate to spread false about Christianity. The missionaries came here for the purpose of Abolition.
