Guys I completely understand letting someone sit next to me if the bus is packed but there were a total of 5 people on the bus and i was the only girl and this grown man chose to sit next to me instead of any other seat, i didnt take up 2 seats because I genuinely didnt think anyone would try to sit next to me on an empty bus

The safest option is for you to sit near the aisle, if you take the window seat anybody can sit next you.

This is the only time where I’ll get up and move. ALOT of the time I get giving them the satisfaction, but I will NOT spend the rest of my ride uncomfortable just to “win” the stupid game you placed me in. Pretend you’re getting off next stop and then move away instead

I got into Charlie and there was obviously so many seats, but I have anxiety. I instantly sit next to the girl that was closest to me and then after a few stops I just thought to myself I wouldn’t want someone to stay next to me so then I just got up and moved.

NOO girl I take the bus every day definitely sit near the driver and sit on the outer seat (seat nearest to the walkway) and put your bag on the window seat!! If he asks to sit right beside you stand up and tell him he can have it then sit somewhere else :)

Get up and sit somewhere else. I hate when they do this. Even when I’m sitting on an outer edge of a man ask to sit next to me when their clearly other free seats I just get up like I’m giving them space to take the seat and then walk over to another one
