@kara_marlene: #stitch with @yuli 🚨 I HAVE AN IDEA AND I THINK IT’S ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. 😂👏 WE NEED A NATIONAL COALITION OF PROFESSIONAL HYPE MEN AND WOMEN. And hear me out… You know those people who finally get FED UP and show up at city council meetings, school board meetings, HOA meetings, and public hearings to stand up for themselves? THEY NEED BACKUP. I’m talking about a whole group of people who show up JUST TO CHEER THEM ON. 😂 Imagine walking into a city council meeting, nervous as hell, ready to confront an entire room of officials… AND SUDDENLY YOU’VE GOT 30 PEOPLE BEHIND YOU GOING: 👏 THAT’S RIGHT! 👏 TELL ’EM! 👏 WE GOT YOU! 👏 SAY IT AGAIN FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK! Not causing trouble. Not threatening anybody. Just a whole lot of moral support, appropriately timed applause, and the occasional enthusiastic head nod. 😂 Because sometimes all somebody needs is to know they’re not standing alone. And after watching this father fight for his family while his wife is in a coma following a car accident… I kept thinking… IMAGINE IF HE HAD AN ENTIRE COMMUNITY SHOW UP JUST TO SUPPORT HIM. Not because they want attention. Not because they’re getting anything out of it. BUT BECAUSE SOMEONE FIGHTING FOR THEIR FAMILY DESERVES TO HAVE PEOPLE IN THEIR CORNER. Honestly, I would absolutely volunteer for this. I’ll bring the snacks, the emotional support, and the enthusiastic facial expressions. 😂 WHO’S JOINING MY HYPE SQUAD?! Because I think we could actually make this a thing. #communitysupport #citycouncel #hoastories #SchoolBoardMeetings
