I moved to San Juan Capistrano in 1976, but we were really in the hills that recently caught fire, which is actually right between the borders of San Juan and San Clemente. Anyway, in 1976 we had cows back in that area where it’s now all black from the fire. And that maybe we had cowboy on horses. And they actually rode into San Juan Capistrano because there were bars down there where you could tie up your horse. It was like moving to a different world because I was born in Los Angeles. The City. But I loved it. Sam Juan was a super cute town back then. I was in the swallows Day parade a few times. San Clemente was the best place to grow up. I went to school in San Clemente and I went to the beach in San Clemente. I don’t think anybody could’ve had a better childhood than those of us who grew up in the beach, cities, a.k.a. Dana point, San Juan Capistrano, and San Clemente and capstar Beach, prior to the 1990s. There was freaking nothing to do when you were a teenager to go to the beach and play sports , but I wouldn’t give it up from $1 million.
