T.J. Dillashaw is a former two-time UFC Bantamweight Champion and one of the most technical fighters in mixed martial arts history. Starting his career as an NCAA Division I wrestler, he completely transformed his game under coach Duane Ludwig into an elite striker, famous for his complex footwork, constant stance-switching, and unpredictable striking angles. The pinnacle of his career came at UFC 173 in 2014, where he pulled off one of the biggest upsets in MMA history by dominating and stopping the long-reigning champion Renan Barão. Later, following a bitter split from his former gym Team Alpha Male, Dillashaw engaged in a highly publicized rivalry with former teammate Cody Garbrandt, knocking him out twice to reclaim the bantamweight throne. However, his legacy faced severe backlash in 2019 when, following a failed bid to become a double-champion against flyweight king Henry Cejudo, he tested positive for the banned substance EPO, resulting in a surrendered title and a two-year suspension. He returned in 2021 to win a grueling five-round war against Cory Sandhagen, but after suffering a massive shoulder dislocation during his subsequent title fight against Aljamain Sterling at UFC 280, he officially retired from the sport to undergo major reconstructive surgery. #tj #dillashaw #рекомендации
