Agree with the first part but my best friend became my fiancés friend and we just all hang out as a group with no awkwardness or issues. If they both love me they will love each other as a result in my opinion since I spend a lot of time with both of them separately and together

I'm baffled by how many people dont think these are reasonable. Now, if one person felt strongly against these rules then I would question the reason why and then have a discussion before making the rule. This is coming from someone whose best friend is friends with my spouse.
