SCOTUS needs term limits, whether that’s 12 years or 16 years. These politicians and justices serving for life (either through incumbency or appointment) is so damaging to our democracy. Times change. We need leaders that reflect that. We ALSO need leaders who will live long enough to see the changes they have a direct result in making.
