His family surrendered him because the owner was working constantly and their father had been diagnosed with cancer. They had Apollo for three years and described him as affectionate. He is potty trained, goes outside, and walks well on a leash. At the shelter, Apollo perked up when he saw the leash and was happy to go outside.
