@universalpicturesstudies: THE GREATEST (2026) Before the world knew him as Muhammad Ali, he was Cassius Clay - a young boxer from Louisville, Kentucky, with extraordinary confidence, undeniable talent, and a dream that went far beyond the boxing ring. The Greatest follows Cassius Clay's journey from winning lympic gold at just 18 to becoming one of the most talked-about names in boxing. But his journey wasn't simply about winning fights. Growing up in a racially divided America, he faced discrimination, family struggles, personal challenges, and pressure from a society that wasn't ready for someone like him to stand up for himself. As his boxing career takes off, Cassius begins developing his own beliefs, finding his voice, and questioning the world around him. His relationships with influential figures like Malcolm X and legendary trainer Angelo Dundee also become important parts of his transformation. Jaalen Best takes on the role of Cassius Clay, alongside Omari Hardwick, Dana Gourrier, Amin Joseph, Giovanni Ribisi, and Michael Ealy. Created by Ben Watkins, this eight-episode biographica, drama explores the man behind the legend, covering the early years that shaped his identity, his rise through professional boxing, and his historic showdown with Sonny Liston. Because before he became a global icon, he was just a young man trying to prove that the world couldn't decide who he was. Before Ali, there was Clay. #PrimeVideoPartner #TheGreatest
