I remember the Bromo seltzer bottle in our medicine cabinet as a kid. My mom even had us use it for upset stomachs. lol this was in the mid to late 1960’s

So when I was a kid we had bromo-seltzer. Looked a lot like crushed pieces of “candy cigarettes”. You’d put like a spoon of it into water and it was for indigestion. Is bromo-seltzer made of a similar compound of bromide??

ok but weirdly a menthol cigarette once helped stop my asthma attack. my inhaler was empty so my gran had me smoke a Virginia slim. it worked. pf.coirse her cure for anything was a Virginia slim.and a cuppa coffee lol

Honestly, today’s medications aren’t a whole lot better. I saw an advertisement today for a medication for seizures with a warning that said it could cause seizures. 😳
