@lvintx: A quiet mouth can say a whole lot 🤐And sometimes, silence speaks louder than words. I’m not saying this to call anyone out, create division, or suggest we should unfollow one another. Everyone has the right to their own opinions and their own vote. But I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed. It’s interesting to watch some Latino content creators who regularly use their platforms to highlight how proudly Mexican or Latina they are, build communities with predominantly Hispanic audiences, and celebrate that identity so openly… suddenly have absolutely nothing to say. Not a word. 🤫 Not even an acknowledgment that the first MEXICAN AMERICAN WOMAN is the Governor of the Great State of Texas says a whole lot in my opinion. You don’t have to agree with me, but I do believe that when you build a platform around representing a community, there’s something to be said about showing up for that community when it matters, too. “In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.” — Martin Luther King, Jr. #2026midterms #texasblue #texas #electionresults #bluewave
