I really like using an Il Toro, aim for the thrusters on the bottom. Shredders will drop you the shotgun shells to keep running around and killing them on Stella. Just make sure to full loot the bodies, sometimes it effects the respawns

any weapon, just shoot the thrusters. MAKE SURE YOU CAN BREAK LINE OF SIGHT, Cover is your best weapon against them, even a desk will do sometimes

Shoot the thrusters towards the base of it. Showstoppers help a lot so you don’t have to take cover while it’s glitched.

These are really good methods but I’d say aim for the thrusters and they are really easy to trap in a room

Every comment works great, but as long as you have a medium ammo gun or better (no light ammo) definitely just utilize cover or bring any grenades to make it even easier (I recommend using the hullcracker to 2 shot them)

Find cover you can move around to avoid the shredder's shrapnel blasts. Pop out and shoot the thrusters on the bottom.
