Fly into storm , fastest way to destination, at the end of day , follow the time and money ..chartered flight from point A. To. B. If they divert, go around, cost time and money . They knew bad weather was ahead. I flew commercial on that day to west palm beach , pilot flew around for additional hour to avoid bad weather. I’m good with that, it was nerve racking but safe. Pilot Jeff was doing his job, he was following instruction, get to destination and get back. It’s all about time and money the invisible passenger on the flight .
