My husband, an athiest, before he died of cancer, he became a Christian. One of the things he said, as he suffered tremendously, was : God absolutely gives us more than we can handle because then we will lean on Him.

I feel like my suffering walked me right into the arms of the lord. I was at my lowest and emptiest and just sat in prayer. I’ve never felt that alone again, and I embrace the solitude I take everyday to sit in prayer. It feels like such a gift 🌹 I wish I could sit in quiet all day and do it 😂
