For those who are new here, my journey started long before implants. I lived with severe periodontal disease, and spent 7.5 years navigating a reality I never expected to experience. There were moments of embarrassment, frustration, uncertainty, and moments when I genuinely questioned whether I would ever feel like myself again. But here we are. ONE YEAR LATER. My implants represent so much more than having a beautiful smile. They represent advocacy, resilience, taking control of my health, and choosing myself even when the journey felt overwhelming. I want people to understand that my natural teeth will forever be apart of me. My experience with periodontal disease was real.
