@little.house.on.the.rez: The Navajo Nation is the largest reservation in the US and the largest food desert. 27,000 square miles and 13 grocery stores. I'm not saying everyone who lives on the Rez goes to the food bank. But for my family, it helps us limit our trips into town. #foodbank #foodpantry #groceryshopping #groceryhaul #grocerystore
girl, salt preserve those lemons! they mae excellent salad dressings, marinades (chicken and sea food is excellent,) even salty lemonade (yes it's a thing!) traditionally it's cut the lemons in quarters but don't completely cut through so it's still held together at one end. stuff with salt and pack hard in a jar (so the juices come out.) store in the fridge. but honestly you could just chop them up if you actually wanted to. super versatile.

if you have waaaaaayyyyy too many lemons, preserve them. so easy, just lemons and salt, Google it. quarter the lemons but don't cut all the way apart. smash into sterile jar, alternate with thick layers of salt. keep in fridge for months. use in savory recipes that call for lemon. (pesto, salad dressing pasta sauce, beans, etc). do some searches, you'll be surprised

Check out Liam’s lemon pousset video! It calls for cream but I wonder if you could work some magic with the milk? It also calls for sugar so maybe if you food processed the cookies super fine it could be used in place of sugar and thicken the milk?
