@kimberlygigante: SO proud of this little boy. Going into OIT I was SO scared. The thought of willingly giving my baby a food that he’s allergic to felt confusing and worrysome. What was my deciding factor? This wasn’t about ME. why would I let MY fear and anxiety stop my son from potentially living an allergy free life? This was about him. Through this, I’ve learned that there are times when you have to put yourself and feelings aside to serve what’s best for your kids. This was one of those times. A full peanut. It might not sound like a lot. And maybe it’s not to some, but now my son dosnt need to sit at a peanut free table. Now I don’t have to worry about cross contamination when he’s not with me.
