It’s very concerning how much fear mongering is occurring because of the election of Muslim-Americans during these midterms, as if somehow being Muslim also means anti-American. This country was founded on the precepts of religious freedom. Policies matter, not your religion. If the policies that they enact are bad, they will be voted out. If they’re popular, they’ll stay. Thanks for using your platform to battle that fear mongering.

Just like how in Texas I voted the devout Christian man for religious freedom (Talarico). It was the Republicans themselves who were forcing their religion on to us and to children in the classroom.
