@jarot7387: Captain Jack Sparrow might not be done sailing after all and fans are already excited 🏴‍☠️😲 Johnny Depp has opened up about the possibility of returning as the iconic pirate in a sixth Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight while promoting his new film Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol, he said that if the story is right, his only real goal would be to give the franchise a better send-off. He didn’t confirm he’s signed on, but he made it clear he has a soft spot for longtime franchise producer Jerry Bruckheimer, saying: “I will go to work with [Jerry] Bruckheimer tomorrow for anything.” Bruckheimer has been vocal about wanting him back too. At Disney’s D23 fan event in August, he revealed that they were in talks with Johnny and working on a screenplay. Johnny played Jack Sparrow in five films, from The Curse of the Black Pearl in 2003 to Dead Men Tell No Tales in 2017. Disney hasn’t announced a cast or release date for the next installment yet.
