@nickandhelmi: FREE exhibitions at Sydney’s newest museum? This needs to be on your weekend list! Powerhouse Parramatta opens Saturday, November 7, and we got a sneak peek inside. Honestly, you could spend hours exploring this place. There are FOUR free exhibitions: • The Mall — nostalgic shopping displays and old Sydney train ticket machines that brought back memories. • Es Devlin: The Turning — immersive installations, mirrors and a chance to draw someone opposite you. • The Dark — a whole world for kids aged 4–12 to explore. We had to put our phones away, so you’ll have to discover the rest yourself! • Overflow — First Nations stories exploring our connection to water. There’s also a rooftop garden growing produce for the café downstairs! If you want to explore more, Task Eternal takes you through aviation and space, with everything from historic Qantas aircraft to spacesuits—and even a slide. This exhibition is paid for adults, but FREE for under-16s.
