The architects of the American democratic system did not foresee that, two centuries later, those arriving in the United States would no longer be Puritans; instead, loopholes in the immigration system have allowed an influx of unscrupulous individuals. Consequently, America now finds itself in a situation where decent people are forced to contend with scoundrels. This system of democracy and liberty is not only being exploited by these unsavory elements, but it also lacks the necessary legal safeguards to defend against such encroachment. It is truly pathetic!
