@kuensel_nationalnews: Update: A massive landslide occurred at Ginjo (winter pasture) on the right bank of Sintaphu chu, roughly one kilometer upstream of Taktsimakhang in Laya. The slide occurred at approximately 10:30 PM on November 4, creating an artificial lake. The Officer-in-Charge of the RBA outpost at Taktsimakhang reported the incident to the Gasa Dzongdag this morning. A joint team from the National Centre for Hydrology and Meteorology (NCHM) and the Department of Geology and Mines (DGM) continued its on-site assessment of the landslide-dammed section of Sintaphuchhu today.
