So when something good happens to me or someone goes out of their way to be kind to me, part of me still wonders what the catch is. Ever since I started focusing on myself and protecting my peace, more good things have been happening. And honestly, I still don’t always know how to react. Sometimes I just sit there like, “Wait… this is really happening to me?” I’m grateful. I’m just getting used to being on the receiving end of the kindness I’ve always tried to give others.
