@lovequeenyou: i want christmas so baddd // #joegoldberg #lovequinn #christmas #you #newyear You is an American psychological thriller and crime drama television series about a man named Joe Goldberg, played by Penn Badgley. Joe is an intelligent, charming, and seemingly ordinary man who works in a bookstore. At first, he may appear romantic, caring, and thoughtful, but he has a much darker side that becomes more obvious throughout the story. When Joe becomes interested in someone, his feelings can turn into an unhealthy obsession. He starts paying extremely close attention to the person’s life, learning about their friends, relationships, interests, habits, and personal problems. Joe often convinces himself that everything he does is because he loves the person and wants to protect them, even when his actions are controlling and harmful. The series follows Joe through different relationships and different stages of his life, showing how his decisions affect the people around him. In the first season, Joe becomes obsessed with Guinevere Beck, a young woman who wants to become a writer. In the second season, he meets Love Quinn, and their relationship becomes a major part of the story. As the series continues, Joe moves to different places, meets new people, and repeatedly tries to create a new life for himself. However, his secrets, lies, and past actions continue to follow him. The show explores themes such as love, obsession, jealousy, manipulation, trust, relationships, loneliness, and the difference between romantic feelings and unhealthy behavior. One of the most interesting parts of You is that the story is often shown from Joe’s point of view, allowing viewers to hear his thoughts and understand how he justifies his actions. This can make him seem charming or relatable at first, while the events of the story reveal how different his thoughts can be from reality. You combines romance, mystery, crime, drama, and psychological suspense, with many unexpected twists throughout the series.
