He’s 110% right because from what I looked at he could’ve let McDavid go right on by. The play was already finished. Why did he gave him the extra nudge right into the pole that basically put his leg if you look at it where it hit the inside of his knee that could’ve been serious. His teammate jumped up and did what he had to do. I would’ve done the same thing and tell your truth, I think that player for the rest remaining of this season will have a bull’s-eye on the back of his helmet because you cannot allow someone to think that they can almost ruin your chances to win a Stanley Cup because of a dirty play like that

if the captain takes any form of hit your job is to make sure the other team realizes they arent allowed to do that. not to may guys like that in the nhl anymore.
