@mothershipsg: what a great way to fly Singapore Airlines (SIA) today unveiled its next-generation long-haul cabin products across First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy Class, and Economy Class. Backed by an investment exceeding S$2 billion, the multi-cabin transformation is scheduled to enter service progressively from the second half of 2027 across the airline’s upcoming Boeing 777-9 fleet and 41 retrofitted Airbus A350-900 long-haul and ultra-long-range (ULR) aircraft. The new First Class cabin offers an ultra-exclusive sanctuary featuring curved sliding privacy doors, premium Poltrona Frau leather upholstery, and a large dining table for companion meals. Its centre seats can transform into a two-seater daytime sofa or aviation’s largest commercial double bed, measuring 80 inches in length and 60 inches across. Notably, First Class cabins will be introduced on the A350-900ULR for the very first time. In Business Class, passengers will enjoy sliding doors, full-flat beds measuring 79 inches, and companion bed options in selected centre seats. An innovative angled table stowage design expands footwell space for greater resting comfort. Both premium cabins incorporate smart controls integrated with myKrisWorld to remember personalised seating and lighting preferences across journeys. Premium Economy and Economy classes feature improved seat ergonomics, extra shin clearance, adjustable headrests, USB-C connectivity, and 4K touchscreen displays equipped with spatial audio and Bluetooth headphone pairing. #mothershipnews #singaporeairlines #travel #flight #airplanetiktok

The seats look horrible…. On both the business and first class the top section doesn’t look to fully recline. There isn’t a flush seat and a massive gap between the upper and lower sections…

Bad move by Singapore airlines - business class colour palette looks bad like a bad choice, no class at all, smaller as well, going backwards from previous cabin seats - compare Qatar airlines -

they outsourced the design for business to BMW, that's why it looks so out of place.

It lost the cozy feel for the business and first class, especially the business class, you feel like seat inside a EV car. It lost the sense of calmness and the feeling is just not really right!🥺
