I’m in my feelings like this about going no contact with my father. The few times I’ve broken it, I’ve been reminded why for my sake and for my other loved ones sake I made the choice to go no contact. Even when it’s hard, they can’t be the person you need and they take up space where you or someone else can give you what you need.
