Stoa :
i mean, if your battery dies, you can't steer, a steel steering shaft is obviously more durable than wires and sensors, and there's a bit of a delay with steer-by-wire, and mechanical steering is more accurate, and mechanical steering has been proven to be more reliable and is simpler, and with mechanical steering, you have road feedback, since a distruption on the wheels travel directly to the steering wheel, so no thanks, i'd rather mechanical steering, no hate on the tech, it's impressive, but until it's better and more reliable than mechanical steering, i'm going with mechanical steering.
