@story.teller5782: I Miss You There were days in the past when the rain poured endlessly. I would sit beside a small window, quietly watching raindrops slide down the glass of a high-rise building. The rain grew heavier, the wind grew stronger, and the leaves rustled in the storm. A gentle breeze slipped through my hair, carrying a familiar scent. And suddenly, I missed home more than words could ever express. Now, California is beginning to welcome autumn, a season of love, memories, and longing. You are so far away… Yet somehow, I can still imagine your fingers gently running through my soft, flowing hair, carrying its familiar fragrance, mingling with the warmth and natural scent of my body. An unnamed longing quietly awakens deep within me… And you are not here. Sitting here, I find myself remembering those mornings when you and I would wake up together to watch the sunrise. Sunlight would slip through the glass windows, gently falling across our sleepy faces. And those tender kisses, those soft whispers of “Good morning,” placed upon lips still warm from sleep… Then we would begin another day together, filled with energy, hope, and possibilities. As evening approached, I would hurry home, hoping to be lucky enough to watch the sunset with you. Even when the streets were crowded, cars rushed from every direction, and people hurried home beneath heavy rain, through the haze of pollution and endless traffic jams that seemed to have no way out… I still felt at peace, simply because I was beside you. Then our holidays and weekends would come to an end. You would return to your work, while I remained behind to face the worries and chaos of everyday life. Some nights, I would suddenly wake up, longing for your arms, missing your warmth, remembering the way you gently pulled me close and whispered: “Good night, sweetheart.” I would wake up with a little emptiness in my heart. But I would remind myself to be strong, to create my own energy, and to welcome another new day. Once again, I would step back into the rhythm of life and keep moving forward, determined to turn my dreams into reality. Perhaps by now, you have come to understand something… When a woman is strong and independent, knows what she wants, and is accustomed to making her own decisions in life, people may assume that she doesn’t need anyone. But even the strongest woman carries a very tender place, hidden deep within her soul. And somehow, you found that place in me. There are moments when I rest my head against your chest and cry like a little girl. Not because I am weak. But because, when I am with you, I feel safe enough to let myself be vulnerable. I feel a connection. A quiet understanding from your heart reaching the simple, strong, and deeply guarded heart that I have always kept hidden within myself. Perhaps that is how I know… That you truly matter to me. Sometimes, I am still a little innocent when it comes to talking about love. I don’t know whether people can truly recognize their first love, their last love, or the person who will eventually become their final destination in life. I don’t know when the heart will finally decide: “This is where I want to stay.” But I remember the things you said to me when I was at the very bottom of my pain and disappointment. Somehow, your words made me feel as though I had been given another chance to love again. And sometimes, I find myself wondering… Am I confusing love with something that simply resembles love? Perhaps I will never know for certain. But no matter what thoughts wander through my mind, there is one thing I know: I am living in the present. And right now, everything seems a little softer. I feel more feminine, more beautiful, more attractive, and somehow… more romantic. To be Cont…
