You can not put Alchemised and The Burning God in the SAME ROW STOP. I used to love Manacled (the original version of Alchemised) before my frontal lobe developed and I read ALCHEMISED and realised that it’s actually…pretty terrible. Aside the mushy writing which can’t be compared to books such as Sunrise of the Reaping and the Burning God , it actually romanticises r*pe. It romanticises abuse and portrays that love can be born out of an abusive relationship. It was not a love story and they both are twistedly trauma bonded. Also this book is not at all an accurate depiction of a war novel.
