@tech4ssd: Someone just built a free GitHub repo that cleans the ads and junk off your smart TV 📺 It started with a developer whose parents’ TV played an ad before Netflix even opened. Claude Code found the TV on Wi-Fi, turned off 25 packages and built a clean new home screen. It’s now a free open-source project (cleanyourtv on GitHub) with 40K+ stars and 335 TV models. How: 1. TV: Settings → Device Preferences → About → tap Build 7 times 2. Developer options → turn on USB debugging 3. Laptop on the same Wi-Fi: open Claude Code in the project folder, paste the prompt with your TV model Nothing is uninstalled, it backs up first, and one command restores your old TV.
