🥔🤯 These Potatoes Are Better Than Meat! You’ve NEVER Cooked Potatoes Like This! 🔥 🍗 Oven-Baked Chicken Legs with Potatoes Juicy, flavorful chicken legs with a golden, crispy skin and tender potatoes infused with delicious meat juices and spices. Everything is cooked on one baking tray, making this a simple, hearty, and delicious meal for the whole family! Ingredients For the chicken: 7 chicken legs 4 garlic cloves 2 tbsp mayonnaise 2 tbsp olive oil Salt to taste 1 tsp paprika Mixed pepper to taste ½ tsp ground coriander Chicken seasoning to taste For the potatoes: 1.5 kg potatoes 2–3 tbsp olive oil Salt to taste 1 tsp paprika Mixed pepper to taste Step-by-Step Instructions 1. Prepare the chicken legs. Rinse the chicken legs thoroughly and pat them dry with paper towels. Using a sharp knife, make several small cuts in each chicken leg. These cuts will help the marinade penetrate the meat, making the chicken more flavorful and allowing the spices to soak in better. 2. Prepare the marinade. In a large bowl, add the crushed garlic, salt, paprika, mixed pepper, ground coriander, and chicken seasoning. Pour in the olive oil and add the mayonnaise. Mix everything thoroughly until all the ingredients are well combined and form a smooth, flavorful marinade. 3. Marinate the chicken. Place the chicken legs in the bowl with the marinade. Using your hands or a spoon, coat each piece thoroughly on all sides, making sure the marinade gets into the cuts. Cover the bowl and let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes. If you have more time, you can leave it in the refrigerator for 1–2 hours to allow the meat to absorb even more of the garlic and spices. 4. Prepare the potatoes. Peel the potatoes, rinse them well, and cut them into thick sticks of approximately equal size. Try not to make the pieces too thick so they cook evenly with the chicken. Transfer the potatoes to a large bowl. Add the salt, paprika, mixed pepper, and olive oil. Mix everything thoroughly with your hands or a large spoon until all the potato pieces are evenly coated with the oil and seasonings. 5. Arrange everything on the baking tray. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Spread the seasoned potatoes evenly over the tray, avoiding piling them too high in one spot. Arrange the marinated chicken legs on top of the potatoes. Spread any remaining marinade over the chicken. As everything bakes, the juices and spices will flavor the potatoes, making them especially delicious. 6. Bake covered with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Cover the baking tray with another sheet of parchment paper and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for approximately 40–45 minutes. During this time, the chicken will begin cooking through, while the potatoes soften and absorb the delicious juices. If the potatoes are cut into large pieces or the chicken legs are particularly large, the cooking time may need to be extended slightly. 7. Remove the parchment paper and brown. After 40–45 minutes, carefully remove the top sheet of parchment paper. Be careful of the hot steam when uncovering the tray! Return the tray to the oven and bake for another 20–25 minutes, until the chicken legs develop a beautiful golden-brown crust and the potatoes are tender inside and nicely browned on the outside. For food safety, check the thickest part of the chicken with a meat thermometer, avoiding the bone. The internal temperature should reach 74°C (165°F). 8. Serve and enjoy! Remove the tray from the oven and let the dish rest for about 5 minutes. Arrange the chicken legs and potatoes on plates and sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired. Serve hot while the chicken is juicy and the potatoes are tender, golden, and full of flavor. Enjoy your meal! ❤ #v#viralv#viralrecipese#easyrecipesc#chickenrecipespotatorecipes
