@amara.best13: ⚠️ DO YOU EXPERIENCE PAIN THAT STARTS IN YOUR LOWER BACK AND TRAVELS DOWN YOUR BUTTOCKS TO YOUR LEG? It could be SCIATICA! Look closely at the anatomy of the hip. The sciatic nerve is the largest and longest nerve in the human body. It travels from the lower spine, through the buttock region and down the back of each leg. When this nerve becomes irritated or compressed, it can cause: 🔸 Sharp or shooting pain. 🔸 Burning sensations in the buttocks or legs. 🔸 Tingling or numbness. 🔸 Weakness in the affected leg. One important muscle in this region is the PIRIFORMIS MUSCLE, which lies close to the sciatic nerve. Understanding this anatomy helps us understand why certain hip and buttock problems can produce pain that travels down the leg.
