@ofcourseonline: Load the deltoids Let's add some weights to your beautiful shoulders and scapula! But only if you can! Disclaimer: if you have an injury, be aware that this could aggravate it, depending on the injury or issue. I often get asked if I do any weight training because folks see the Pilates equipment and assume that's all I do. Well, I do weight training 3 times per week. I Love this for my deltoids, and yes, I do lots of other exercises too. Important: Shoulders elevate slightly as you raise your arms but most people OVER-ELEVATE their shoulders. If you are super tight in your upper traps and levator scap then think of a heavy blade as you raise your arms. Position: 1. Arms slightly in front of you 2. Elbows pull away from you (creating space inbetween your shoulder blades) Now it bites your Deltoid! As simple as that! And if learning how to REALLY connect to your body is important to you then hit follow because I have so much to share with you! #fyp #shoulderpain #shoulderworkout

Thank you very much for your explanations. I didn’t expect the movements of the shoulder blades to play such an important role in weight training.
