@dw.africa: A Tanzanian court has found no evidence to convict opposition leader Tundu Lissu of treason. The chadema chairman was arrested in April 2025 over remarks prosecutors said were intended to incite the public to disrupt that year's general election. He has been detained for more than 18 months and had pleaded not guilty to a charge that carried the possibility of a death sentence.
