I have not seen the episodes of Roseanne dying or this scene. Episode 1 of the "The Conners" was called "Keep on trucking" and they never showed these scenes. Did I miss something?

I know many people don’t like the ending for Roseann, but I think it’s kinda fitting. She had a HARD life. Look at who raised her, she had three kids on low income, multiple financial hardships, Becky goes off the deep end, DJ is a menace, etc. she got an injury and got addicted. It’s a classic tell. Addiction sneaks up on you and rewires your brain into something you’re not.

I think the original roseanne series was the best but I watch the first season of the new roseanne series just wasn't as funny & with them writing out jackie son & roseanne youngest son after everything just didn't like it . Jackie was a good mum & not just roseanne sister. the way they made david as well .didn't watch the conners

this is one of the most truest episodes in sitcom history. addiction two pain killers always happens like this for most families. I'm 37 years old and when I was 2 my mother got into a car accident that hurt her back. she of course was put on heavy duty pain medicine and from that moment on she became highly addicted. of course she would take all of her pills before it was time for the next prescription which meant she would have to buy them off the street from a friend who also had pain medicine. she lived in her bed because she was always was so high from the pain medicine. sadly 35 years later my mother is still addicted to pain medicine and has never stopped taking them. her pain management doctor prescribes them to her and she still ends up taking all of them before the next prescriptions do and it's usually about a week that she goes without her pain medicine. I truly think my mom's body doesn't even know how to run unless it has some type of opioid in it. needless to say though that pill addiction destroyed my family especially when my mother was made one of the first oxycontin guinea pigs in the late '90s and then my father followed suit because back then there were no regulations on those medications in fact they treated them like a miracle drug passing them out like candy.

People don’t understand that this is someone’s home. It was mine as a child. I had to go through it as the child of the addict. Roseanne was always been ‘what’s happening in the world’ type deal. Her showing her true colors was so weird due to this show. Blew my mind.
