I've lived in the Philippines for over 4 years now. I would NEVER buy a condo which is the only thing a foreigner can own. There's such a glut of units on the market or empty that there's no foreseeable appreciation in value. You can't own land so do you want to build your dream house on someone else's land?

I have lived here in rentals for nine years. If I had the money I would consider a condo but would never give someone else the money to buy land and build a house.

I buy land in city,then build house.... u can design your own,because if buy housing a bit expensive,but if build ,u can save a bit compare u buy the housing already build

You better buy a property than rent. Then have business but you can do all these only if you have a filipina wife but choose a wife who is matured and really loves you not hurt you. Just be careful okay?
