This does not seem like a sound engineering approach. The entire building sways, raising concerns about its long-term structural integrity. What about the cumulative effects of repeated stress cycles and material fatigue on the building’s structural components? Could prolonged cyclic loading eventually lead to structural degradation, fatigue cracking, or even failure?

It sways just the opposite of the building sway. Think about it. Why would add to the natural sway of the building. It’s there to counter-act the natural sway to prevent the building from collapsing.

You are playing with fire with that setup, if it gets away from you (Murphy's Law - if it CAN happen, it WILL happen), you will make it far worse. 🤔
