nah I'm sorry if it really just depends on the marriage right like me and my wife we both just used to spend money all crazy and now we've made a rule if we're going to be spending more than $50 that's not something necessity we ask each other because I mean it's our money combined we got to make sure we have enough for bills but also that being said it really just depends on how bad someone is at spending money if they're not bad at spending money I don't think it's really that big a deal again it's something you need to talk to with your spouse to see what y'all are both comfortable with

i have the agreement with my wife, that neither of us spends more than $100 without letting each other know first. it's not about permission, it's simple communication, and avoids trust issues when a large withdrawl is a surprise.
