First of all, thank you to everyone who has checked in, sent a message, or wondered where I went. It means more than you know. The truth is, I’ve been trying to figure some things out. My career, my relationship with creating content, what I want to be known for, and how to keep showing up without losing myself in the process. I’ve had so many thoughts, drafts, and unfinished videos sitting around. But somewhere along the line, I started asking myself if I even wanted to keep doing some of the things I was doing. I didn’t have all the answers, and I still don’t. But I’ve been writing. A lot. And I thought it was time to share some of those thoughts. So, I wrote about being away, feeling uncertain about my path, the pressure to be seen online, and learning to trust Allah even when I haven’t figured everything out. It’s a little personal, but maybe someone else needs to read it too. I’ve shared an excerpt here, but the full piece is on my Substack on “Yours Cruise and Truth”. 🥹 Read “I Don’t Want to Lose Myself Trying to Be Seen” via the link in my bio.
